No nukes should be used! The UK, the most civilized nation in all the galaxy should realize early on the catastrophic chaos a detonated warhead would cause. Australia urges their friend and former Mother to think twice about using them.

Australia is greedy, lets face it. And offers for colonies and land from all sides are pouring in and we are tempted to backstab you all and gain much land. But we shall not. The Australian space navy will go to the British lands of Deimos, Mars, and the Moon to insure order and stability. Australia wants these lands to remain under British mandate and condemns this "revolution". TO Free Mars we will withdraw our peacekeeping force from Phobos and only keep a few men as police in New Sydney. The people have a right to choose their leaders in a well oiled democracy and that is what we are doing. Australia does not want a war and will only enter one if her colonies or those of peaceloving nations (mainly the UK and Germany and of course italy this time) are blatantly attacked or rebelled against.

UK: You may do what you wish with our space navy and peacekeepers in terms of halting rebellion.

To TOMI of the Martian Empire,

We welcome what we hope is the rightful ruler of the Martian Empire. We are glad that you can agree to our ownership of Deimos, as for the bio-warfare, we wern't sure. Since it is not brainwashed people, we must request those UK citizens that led the rebellion be released into UK custody, and the UK colonial goverment be restored. We will allow any UK colonists who wish to join your Empire to go, but we can not tolerate those that would overthrow a goverment for no reason.

There had been no serious complaints of UK goverment in the colony until the Martian Way group appeared, spreading anti-UK propaganda and much worse. The colony belongs to and is quite happy under UK control, a few misgrievances do not mean our entire colony has happily joined your empire. If you want I can send you reports from various colonials, or if you want take the fact that a large portion of the colonial armed forces are still with me, albeit in secret.

I do not want war of any kind, I just don't think the UK people should have been a tool in your revolution, if you'll forgive me for saying, Empress.

For right now it is not needed, we have arrested or destroyed all forces on Deimos, and negotiations are underway for the release of our colony on Mars. We do not seek a war so I believe the best policy would be to allow the new Martian ruler to do what is right, if it fails though your help will ease the burden of reclaiming our colony.

The loyalists have been defeated! TOMI (from now on known as just MI, and the first MI will be known as the Usurper) has officially announced that she is in Marsopolis. THe Usurper has been executed in her presence.

MI to William:
If you agree that it was not brainwashing and the colonists made their own decisions, why do you suddenly expect the people to want to join you, almost 80% supported it! I admit that although overall the former colony wishes to stay in the Empire, it is split into four provinces. According to the partisan polls from before the revolution, the Southwestern province is actually quite likely to decide to rejoin you. But each province will be allowed to decide for itself. I thank you for recognizing that the revolution was not my idea: I came to the colony to take refuge with the Martian Way and from the colony defeat the Usurper. HOwever, I am not going to pay them for their hospitality by turning them in to their former oppressors (or so they claim, this is not meant to be an insult).

SELF DETERMINATION ELECTION RESULTS:
Phobos: THe 35% that previously belonged to Australia has joined them. The rest, though lacking a majority wanting to stay in teh EMpire, was split between Italy, UK, GErmany, and Australia, so the largest portion wanted to stay.
Planet: THe aforementioned province in the colony has voted to rejoin the British (orange). In the Southeast, a new nation known as the Phlegra-Madlerian Federation (PMF, liight blue) has formed from two provinces that decided to split. In the Southwest, two more provinces with strong loyalist (pro-Usurper) feelings split and formed the Union of Loyal Martians (ULM, dark green).

In sum, 6 provinces left the Empire, 2 joined earthling powers, the other four formed 2 new nations.

To the Martian Empress MI,

You don't seem to quite understand Empress, we will have ALL of our colony back. Citizens that wish to immigrate to your Empire may do so freely, but all lands and things belonging to the colonial goverment will stay in UK control. We also request the ones who led this rebellion be released into UK custody, it may be legal to overthrow goverment in your Empire, but not in ours.

Do not throw stats at me, how 80% of this, or 50% of that supported whatever. We will take our colony back by the end of year, we are just allowing time for diplomacy. If you remember Empress, we are still technically in a state of war, so my demands still stand until all of the UK colony is given back.

The world was somewhat amazed today as Russia declared war on the Martian Empire, claiming they wanted to bring peace, stability, and a new govermente to the Martian people. No reply as of yet from MI, but-

Wait, i'm recieiving something just now, it seems the UK colonial army has stormed all Martian bases recently setup within the UK colony on Mars and has captured or killed the soldiers, it also seems all Martian officials have been captured or killed as well. Some minor fighting among the rebel UK colonial army, but after the corrupt commanders fled, they surrendered. All UK lands and a bit extra has been secured, with UK space ships patrolling watching for signs of a Martian counter attack. We shall continue to observe this story as it develops, bringing you the latest.

We have taken back what is rightfully ours, and will defend if you attempt to reclaim it. We will sign a peace treaty now that we have what we demanded and end the war, if you attempt you take control of the UK conoly by force or by further propaganda again, I will do all the things listed before with no chance of diplomacy stopping it from happening.

I regret that it had to come to this, but your ideas that all of the UK colony wanted to join you was ridiculous. We will if a peace treat is signed release all captured martian troops and officials into your control. Note: This does not apply to UK citizens who assisted in the rebellion, they are facing UK laws.

Russia, probably honoring their alliance with Britain declared war on Mars too, while Germany started mobilizing troops in the Franco-German colonies in Mars, the Citizens of Phobos had an election there on which empire to join in, we currently have a small portion of the moon.
This is not all sire.... as if this was not enough the Incans declared war on the United Lunar States and on the United States of America!
