Hey, the metric system rocks. The Americans should have switched to it too.

It costs the US millions every year due to the inefficiency of the Metric System. I think the USA will, when given a choice, always accept that which is English over that which is French, whatever the cost.
Of course, I'm posting, and not playing, but that's cause I'm waiting for the turns to spin in the last years of the tourney game...

The inefficiency would have to be that americans have to spend that much on converting things TO and FROM the metric system, because that's what the rest of the world uses.
America is already switching to the metric system.
just look at the stock market. They recently switched from using fractions (imperial) to decimals (metric). Soon it'll be taught in all the schools.
back to on topic stuff

Anyway, on topic, I just finished the Tourney game and am all cived out for the day. I will have the next installment of the Russian Saga tomorrow.
In the meantime, check out my tourney game in the thread - I'm the current leader, at least for the current 5 second period.
Also, hype this thread for story of the week if you like it (though there are some other great ones out there, as I discovered while terminally bored at work today)

Uh oh...
I am starting to get the hang of this forum thing
I think I finally figured out how to do screen prints (Thanks Osweld)...
Dare I say that I will include screen prints with my next turn?
