Never load a PBEM game if you already have single player game open. This will make the bug appear.

Always when you receive PBEM game in mail, quit any PtW game that you are playing, exit to Desktop, start PtW again and load the PBEM game straight away, do not load single player games before it.

If the bug still persists, use the multiplayer loading method:

Launch PTW
Select Multiplayer
Set Location to Local.

Click on Host
Under Game Type, select Play By EMail
Under Game Mode, select Load Game
Load the current save
Click on Launch

Do your turn
Click on the End Turn Oval
Save the Game

So are they going to release another patch addressing this problem and other issues? Haven't heard much lately. Feel like I got mugged when I first got this game. At least with 1.14 the mugger picked me up and brushed me off. I'm still waiting to get my money's worth.

Ahhh! This is exactly what I did Conqueror...so, from now on I will quit and reload PTW before loading the PBEM game.

That clears that up, no more hickups!
