To Clegg. I wondered why you had 23 points. At least no one will bother with you if you're in the middle of a huge jungle.

        3850 BC to Egyptians.

I think the reason some folks only have 23 points is because they moved their settler on the first turn instead of building a city. If I remember the formula for score correctly, population and controlled territory would be the largest factor in the very early game folowed by technology.

Conqueror, sounds like you'll have some busy workers on your hands.

I can't tell too much about my start position yet since I am still waiting for a unit that I can use to explore I guess early game interest is one of the advantages of the expansionist trait in PBEM games, huh? It won't be long now though...

I doubt if 23 rather than 30 points will make much difference once we get going !

Expansionist is probably a stronger trait in human games, particularly ones without AI civs.

                  turn to ottomans

I haven't stored any production or food for the last 2 turns even though I clearly have an excess of both !!!! Is this a bug ?

                    Turn to Arabs

My city screen looked correct. Is the time remaining on your first build correct?

Tom, next turn try adjusting labourers working to different tiles than what they are working on now and see if it helps.

Turn sent. Said the monarch thing again. Maybe it remembers the previous difficulty?
