Well...I have never ended up in a position, that was so bad, it wasn't playable...(That doesn't mean, I can win, nomatter the starting position...it just means, I can have fun, even with having the worst starting position ever...)This space is empty... or is it?

When should be the starting "veto" expressed? Immediately in the beginning, during the very first turn?
Or should we wait 3 turns, to see the surroundings?
So, what do you vote? 1 turn, 3 turns, more?
I vote for 1 turn only."The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

1 turn
If you can't see anything but jungle, that could be a good hint
(besides it just being no fun for the one involved, and maybe not even for the rest either)Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

So be it.
RULE: Each player has one and only one vote to restart the game (start veto). The veto can be expressed only before the end of the first turn."The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

I'll be looking for some PBEM games once PtW actually comes out that is
It would be good to have a group that can spend an hour or so for the first (fast) turns. Ideally I'd have liked an option to play online then PBEM, but I dont think it works out that way.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

In other PBEM games I've been involved with over the years, a turn every week is more typical. Because of this there is no good reason to limit yourself to only one game at once.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
