In my opinion, that's one of the things on playing on the world map.... If you don't want to play, you don't have to, but for instance, Iraq, and Alaska, and Texas, all have lots of oil production... Russia... not so much. Randomizing may very well give Russia more... I have deleted quite a few resources, expecially coal and uranium, and added some terrain..... silks I think is mostly true, although spices were in some places in France etc... I'm not too sure about the Americas... Anyways, I promise that I'm recording the timezones right now! And no, I'm not the Alaskans in the game, just by birth... I'm in-game Persian... Alaska would probably most directly benefit either Rasputin, depending if there is anyone else on continent, or Japan... So, Lz, did you want Japan or Celts?Comment

I knew that they had oil, its just they don't mine most of it, so it isn't really 'there' on most maps.... Who do you work for, Rasputin? Anyways, just to be nice, since you don't want to know where the resources are, how about not looking at the map after we've begun the game? Anways, here it is!

OK then... I am leaving in two days time, so I won't have access to Conquests for the week through Friday... Actually there is no mention of it being decided whether we play ptw or conquests. is there anyone else that doesnt have it?
If not, I'll ask my roomie if i can borrow it, though I'm not familiar with any changes and modifications. And I'm busy the entire weekend. Totally busy. And I'll be formatting my hard-drive on sunday, so you wont be seeing me here again until monday
