You're right the confused kangaroo is the icing on the whole story. of course, I too have bookmarked it (to send on to friends and loved ones), I was just hopeing that there was a condensed download version for people who operate on .... gawd, can I even say it?.... dial-up connection...but then, my parents and siblings are still plugging away at dial-up...

Well I am 1/8th Wyandot. My Gradmother on my father's side was a full blooded Wyandot Squaw.

The Wyandot Nation use to stretch from Michigan through Ohio (were I myself, and the last few generations were born and raised). But alas, there arn't many Wyandots left in America today.

Ah, I see. MY ancestors are from England but a bit of Irish sneaked in there somewhere. Explains my red beard and my laugh, apparently.

How is it possible to play a diplo pbem without ai civs? Are you actually going to vote for another human player as world leader?

Diplomatic victory is just one option. Anyway, won't everyone vote for the guy who started the game?
Feephi, what civ would you like to be and what's your time zone?

OK, I have done a map for this game.

I actually went a bit further and did a version with a few rule changes knowing that some of you are bound to be tempted by the dark side.

Specifically I reduced the benefits of governments that don't suffer from war weariness so that monarchy, fascism and communism give less military police and less unit support that normal. I also removed the reduced WW ability from police stations and changed Universal Suffrage to give 2 happy faces per city, not reduce WW. So if you really have to fight a war you would have to contend with some unhappy citizens.

I also added unhappy faces to Manhattan so if you want nukes your citizens would not like it. Of course the civs that don't build Manhattan will then be able to build nukes without that unhappiness penalty.

Also knowing that some of you would still get itchy fingers to press the red button I then created a third version with some additional hidden nationality units. Nothing too strong so you won't be capturing any cities (at least not in the later game ) but capable of pillaging, capturing workers, that sort of thing - without actually going to war.

The problem is that there seems to be a bug in the editor in that I can't get the scenario to run in debug mode. I am confident it is all OK but it isn't fair to drop it on you and risk a bug after weeks or months of play.

So do you just want the map or are you prepared to risk one of the versions with edited rules?
