Alive and breathing but not able to play civ. reconstruction of my 'new' house takes an enormous effort and amount of time. I'm sorry, but it has priority.
Meanwhile, here at work I'm not able to install (anything) and with my parents their computer should retire as they themselves do...

Before making new New Years resolutions, I still have to keep up one for this year.. It's been over a year since I played the last turn in whatever civ game. I just found out I'm missing out on a new add-on and there is even news over a new civ all together.
Last year I have been building on my house that I bought a year ago. It's from 1888 and needed somewhat more than a paint job. Actually I'm still busy, but at last took some time to set up my laptop (again after a major crash sometime over the last year). Moreover I found my civ cdroms that were in some moving box. Got hooked up to internet at my parents (an inlaws) to get the required patch and today played my turn.
It seemed like a whole new game. I can't even remember my objectives. Luckely, I could remember my password. Checked to see I'm at war with AquaBeta, but don't feel the emotion
that should go along with it.
Anyway, I'm commited to finish this game and apologise for my disappearance from the apolyton community.
1 slight problem..
I can't remember the Shogun Gunner password. As commonly known I have been playing his turns since he drew back from the game (some time after he capitulated to Germany tot form the Commonwealth). I'll try to contact him.

According to the old list of saves that I had for this game, I was sending the save to J2K...and this is what I did for this last turn, Is that correct?
Boy, talk about a game feeling ancient! It is surprising how one gets use to the game engine of Civ4 so quickly!

I finally figured it out...after the save I sent to J2K got bounced back.
I remembered that Gramps to over for J2K and then later dropped the game and I assumed his last remaining city since the game crashed every time I took the city over.
Thank God I still have my old notes with J2k's/Gramps' password!
Any how, 1405AD turn sent to McMeadows.
