Chinese tanks defeated the Indian troops in Delhi and captured the city. They then defeated the troops in Jaipur, Kalkutta, Hyderabad, Bombay, and Madras, capturing those cities as well. China lost 3 tank units.

WAR! The Finnish intrusions into Russian territory has brought upon the righteous response of the USSR. They shall remember the day they did this!

Major battles:

• Oulu. Artillery barrage, followed by a moderate attack. Many Finnish losses, one Russian Tank division destroyed.
• Helsinki. Artillery barrage, followed by a major battle. We had to endure many losses, but Helsinki was captured.
• Trondheim 7. Naval battle, including aerial bombardment. 2 NATO Battleships sunk, 2 NATO Nuclear Submarines sunk, 2 Russian AEGIS Cruisers lost.

• More than 10 aerial bombardments around Europe. Lost about 1/3 of the squadrons while cutting some Roads and Rail.
• North of England. 1 NATO Nuclear Submarine sunk, 1 NATO Carrier damaged, 1 Russian Submarine lost.
• Near Goeteborg. 1 Swedish Nuclear Submarine sunk.
• Thessalonika. Artillery barrage: 2 HP total taken. 3 NATO Mech Infs destroyed, 1 NATO Tank destroyed, 1 NATO Marine destroyed, 13 Russian Tanks lost, Thessalonika captured.
• South of Thessalonika. 6 NATO Tanks destroyed, 5 Russian Tanks lost.
• Athens. 1 NATO Mech Inf destroyed, 3 NATO Marines destroyed, 1 (or more) ICBM destroyed, 2 Russian Tanks lost, Athens captured.

The Japanese government is very concerned about the fighting in Scandinavia.

And after a disgustingly long amount of time - for which I should be quartered and hung - the May 1962 save goes to Shogun, with my apologies folks. The last number of weeks have been busy with work and family and demo games - and this seems like the first day I have had to sit down, catch my breath and get caught up.
