As to the Cold War save, it is the one I played last time. Sending again to Beta. The date should change between Mickeyj (July) and Moonbars (August or thereabouts, I do not recall the time settings for this scenario).

This pace is almost exactly one turn a month. With so many units, I can't even remember which units I sent where and why.... Each time I open the save it's like I'm looking at everything for the first time. /rant off
It might be worth it to pay for your plane tickets to Washington DC just to do that
I agree. A faster pace would be nice. This game has interesting possibilities. I think one turn every 5 days is reasonable to expect. Each person gets a day to play the turn.
