and I am a little perplexed to be finishing this game... did not know of that bug listed above by Andy.

Okay, when I got home from work today, I'll replay my turn and send that to Andydog. In interest of fair play, I will perform the same moves which should be rather simple as I didn't have any offensive action during the turn.

If Andy can't get his cannons to fire properly -- then it will be way too unfair to ask him to continue with that limitation.

How do you rate that cannon of yours Mike? Any chance it fires blanks?

I didn't do anything other than replay my turn -- who knows how these things work. I've noticed that modded games tend to have bit more problems than a "standard" or "vanilla" game.

It's the price we pay to make it interesting!

English Lifeguard units, in careful coordination, march into position. First a slow walk with the units marching inline. Then a brisk walk towards the Turkish positions. Ottoman artillery batteries start firing at the advancing English troops. The English officer leading the charge shouts out for a fast trot. The lads pick up the pace as the shapes of the Turkish troops come into focus. Nervous Turkish troops start firing ineffectually. As the English come into range, units alternate between firing and advancing. Shortly a melee erupts.
