1799 - The war for Europe

a napoleonic game with a few twists

4 human players - the rest AI

initially no set war agianst any particlar nation
so all set alliances to be removed

we just be europe going about its business etc

the napoleonic pbem map will have some changes

- England will give over its Portuguese holdings to Spain

- England will give over it's Naples holdings to France, Austria and the Ottoman

- Sweden will be split up between England and Prussia
thus Sweden is not a player in the game, but her land starts with two players straight up

- England gets the French Danish holdings for Amsterdam

- Settlers to be enabled

- Bombard option enabled on ships of the line
and possibly men-o-war
(opinions needed on this bombard issue, I just feel that with settlers on then we have plenty of growth / expension available)

my apologises, as you know, I normally do not do battle reports etc, so forgot all about doing them this time

I will be more vigilant next turn when the 3 of you have come a knocking and smashed into France now that I have left

I seem to remember a discussion we had on easygoing where we decided to go for more detailed reports.

Aye, we need detailed reports, as agreed previously.

We are obviously very interested to see what units attacked us.

As for Paddy not usually providing reports, I've seen him do it plenty of times before in other games. It should be nothing new.
