sorry lads, but I remember no such agreement at any time regarding such reports
but I can tell you that One Russian Army and any other units that were located at this place have been dismissed
I will go back and get full details if you wish
do you also require to know the massive carnage that your units caused to my fine lads on the rescue mission?

come forth with the post where I have ever provided such a report in a thread where the request for combat reports was not clearly stated in the opening posts
but if that be your desire so be it
so do I need to go back over the last save before the Czar will play the save that he has obviously opened
come on lads
I never ask people for them
I never do them
I am in just a few cames on three different sites
so do I need to go back over the last save before the Czar will play the save that he has obviously openedLast edited by Paddy; February 4, 2005, 06:40.

Paddy, it is not unreasonable to ask for combat reports, nor it is unusual.
As Shogun mentions above, Civ3 multiplay was poorly designed. This means that it is impossible for the person defending to ascertain how many troops attacked him, how many bombarding troops, how many promotions etc etc etc, which is essential information for strategy and is provided by the game during single play.
In all games that I have been involved with it goes without saying that combat reports are provided for those very reasons.
I guess it's up to Mike if he requires a fully detailed report from you before playing the turn, but I quite understand if he does as his next moves will depend on how many troops/armies he should have seen you attacking with.
that's all.

as I said I will do them for this game - and the only one of my games where I thus do
actually it would then be very interesting how the Czar would be able to know what happened at the battle - seeing that all of his units were dismissed
so will the game be only played once a week from now on?
you probably think that this question is also unreasonable, but well we were playing at quite a good turn rate there for a while

Paddy, you know the gaf, combat report please.
Paddy, will taking a few notes when playing your turn really slow down the gameplay? Maybe I don't quite understand your post.
I hope everyone is still upbeat about this game. I like this particular scenario...Haven't been here for ages....
