              • /me wearily enters the Tullamore after a 3 day ride from the battle front

It has been a hard fought struggle, but our Immortals have emerged victorious from their first major test. Still, there is much uncertainty ahead, and I would thank the barkeeper for a large barrel of ale and a roasted lamb for my guard.

Peace be with all in this bar who are in turn peaceful
So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse, or I'll lay your soul to waste

well the pbem forum is a little slow this day indeed..

may the parties be safe and full of happiness and friendship

John Adams wrote that the Fourth of July "...ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other..."

                          • There is but one beer that will quench my thirst. Bartender, I'd like a Rochefort 10 please!

It is brewed in Belgium at one of the few remaining Trappist Monestaries.

                            • Ah, you need to venture north of the border my friend. Between Madison and the state line lies the New Glarus Brewery. Their widely renowned brews rival the true Belgian Ales (both in taste and price ;-). If you can find a bottle of 'Unplugged', pour it in a Belgian-style goblet and enjoy...

Which reminds me, did Skanky get that keg of Spotted Cow in yet Paddy?
