hehe, I think we both drank a fair amount of merlot through the night, and would not be at all surprised to find that except for family responsibilities we would both be drinking throughout this fine sunday

So, Paddy, you'll be happy knowing that one of my oldest pals and I last night went to a restaurant here in NYC called "Eight Mile Creek". It is evidently the hangout of choice for all the expat Aussies here.
I had kanga skewers and rack of lamb... friggin' awesome. On the drinks list we had Victoria Bitter, a Penfold's cabernet, and a Penfold's port.
I lifted a glass for ya, mate... more than one!
