Are we sending each other battle reports? Makes the game more fun for defenders
In this situation with all involved we could simply put the reports in the thread.
War declared. One horse resource pillaged.
Our lawyers are haggling over the exact wording of an upcoming alliance announcement about the war. Stay tuned to this channelIllegitimi Non Carborundum

I'm in favour of war reports. At the moment I'm faced with dissapearing units, cities and roads (irrigation). My bookkeeping is not such that I can remember how much I've lost and I have inflicted any damage.
on the last turn:
catapult damaged HM (-1 hp) [B]
warrior (-1 hp) damaged (same) HM (-1hp) [B]don't worry about things you have no influence on...

It works both ways I guess, on one hand it is annoying when units/cities etc just disappear, while on the other hand it is deeply satisfying to do this to someone else.
And I don't know what will give you most work, making battle reports all the time, or keeping inventory of your troops.
In sum, I am slightly opposed to battle reports, but my opinion will not be relevant much longerDon't eat the yellow snow.

Keeping inventory of your troops is more difficult. But I'm willing to accept the loss in information as part of the game. Making long reports isn't what the game should be about as well.don't worry about things you have no influence on...

Maybe the AC every 5 turns has something to do with it... Didn't it come with mathmatics? We did some at least, and it seems that 3v1 was the answer. We'll have to ally in game, but I've just forgotten it. Doesn't change much.
