There is nothing I can do to compensate for the emargo. The point of the ettiquettte is that players should not discuss embargoes in the thread or in email until they have nationalism. Since that has already happened, all I can do is say 'shame on you'.

jshelr, I don't see what misled you on this point. If you can't have an embargo without Nationalism, that clearly means you cannot as a group decide to not trade technology with a player. Each player as an individual should have decided how to deal with Mongolia on their own, unless you were prepared to go to war.

BTW, my specific intention with the etiquette was to introduce subtle elements of game play that are unenforceable by an outside party. Playing in good spirit is essential to the entire rules/etiquette/exploit list.

There are no roads to bongoland. This embargo was for tech purposes. We were going beyond the call of duty to even post anything about it.
