I believe I now something about the US space Program too...
The US lost the race for the stars of the USSR.
About an hour after Yuri got in orbit Kennedy made it an issue to be the first "civ" (read rebels, Brittish rebels to be exactly) on the moon. US won.
During thoose times USSR sometimes took the lead over USA.
12 years ago the Wall fell, still causing problems in USSR (read Russia)
US still cant have it they lost the first match!!!
