i guess it must be shipyards....or sea fortress...in any case, the gameplay effect is relatively predictable (repairing ships, producing veteran vessels)

I can live with the mountains. It is the irrigation-improvement that bugs me - it looks awfull. More regular & thin canals, and slightly different crop-colour depending on underlying terrain-type is the answer.

      I like the crisp-sharp advisor-screen graphics.

More emphasize should be put into coastal city-area placements, then working inwards. This is the best way to exploit the available landarea.

When i first saw that dustbin like white cylinder under Munich, I thought it was a metal milk canister.. like the ones used to transport milk from cattle farms, maybe its a dairy cattle region.

Maybe this means you can make lovely cheese there.. one of my favourite foods, if they don't have cheese i'm not buying this game LOL

I am pleased to see a Grand Cathedral build too.. its nice you can have Minor wonders like this ( i presume this is a special minor) .. for extra big cathedrals like Notre Dame in france(?)
I've wanted something that lets you build the biggest of something, like the biggest cruiseliner.. the Titanic etc to show intercountry competition in industry.
The Dreadnought arms race is another example before ww1, but I guess buildings are a different issue from this, slightly.

while we're on wonders, PLEASE let us edit wonders properly, better than before, so we can use them well in scenarios.
I've just had problems in my scenario with TOT where wonders go into the wrong era settings .. its also silly you can build wonders in any old backwater or mountain, you should only be able to build things like the Hoover Dam near a river for example.

There's a typo in one of the screenshots. The diplomatic advisor says "Our forces outnumber the Iroquoiss." The mountains are a little steep and the square division lines should go BEHIND them, but I can live with it.

Screenshots look great Firaxis, can't wait to play it

Everything looks great, love the roads especialy, main ones and minor ones, makes it look like more of a country. Love the design of the cities, and the pink colour for French - love that haha.

                    Domestic Advisor

The only rant I can find is that the roads and rivers still overlap the mountains, I'd prefer the river never to go over a mountain, they must go around the mountain, if you must, make a mountain that has a small river coming out of it (I've seen a screenshot with that). Having a river go over a mountain is very ugly, I think everyone would prefer to have no rivers on mountains than to have a river go over it like that.

Same goes for roads too, it looks silly and wrong.

What player do you have to have to play the videos?
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

Is it just me, or do the roads and rivers running through the mountains look terrible? The mountains look 3-D, but the roads look like they're hovering over the mountains and the rivers look worse.

I hope these graphics aren't finalized.

Time's up! LOL! I just have to laugh. It seems me and ContradictioN never see eye-to-eye. But that's fine. It would be so boring to always agree, right?

I HATE THOSE ROADS. In fact, the entire graphic situation to this point, not to mention the horrid font and awful/simplistic grammar tells me that this STILL must be an alpha build. Dear Lord...

It says Miletos which means that civ is Greece.

Apparently, irrigation works in squares diagonal to water or other irrigation.

It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars
