A never-ending source of pedantry III

If you look at this screenshot, you can see that the sum of the culture points from the cities is a mere 6039, while the advisor claims that the total culture value of your civ is 6608. There appears to be room for at least one more city on the screen, so I don't think that there's another page of cities contributing the missing 569 culture points. Does this mean that the countryside might actually contribute to your culture?

Wine is in, as are elephants (from here)

Solar System? Maybe a Wonder or a Minor Wonder?

Keep trying. I think we're overloading their servers.

Of Solar System, I'm guessing a minor wonder. Grand Cathedral and Trading Company would also be, I guess, minor wonders. Let's hope that they have bit better names than that, tho.

There's also a minor/major (I'm not sure) wonder, Forbidden Palace. Munich is building it in one screenshot.

Iroquis would seem to be in as a civ, BTW.

And I really don't want to know what was in the mind of animator who designed this rocket.

The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

What about "Forbidden City"? is that a Major Wonder?

Wait, is there any confirmation about major/minor thing except on civfanatics.com ? I do not remember seeing it in any interviews/previews (well, some and then it kinda disappeared).

So the Iroquois are now definitely confirmed then!

I can also see cattle as a special resource on the screenshots.

Yeah, something about art as well on the culture screen thing. From what I can tell, this must be the equivalent of the civ/civ2 concept of luxuries. In civ3, luxuries are tradeable commodities.

Steam power appears to be an advance...

Musketmen appears to be the name of a unit, obviously the non-special unit equivalent of the French musketeers.

The Forbidden Palace seems to be some sort of wonder.

Below Munich there is some sort of pot, must be denoting a special resource. Clay or porcelain or something? On this screenshot.

A trading company is being built by the French. As well as a solar system. Sounds quite a large construction task

As well as some of these luxuries, the already spotted whale, fish and wheat were present, along with gold, iron, coal, diamonds, gems, etc. Yeah, I noticed a gems resource (multicoloured) as opposed to diamonds (similar but just white). Intriguing.

LaRusso: It was in the second-ever thorough preview, that in PC Gameplay magazine, later reproduced on the Gamespot UK website. Look for the obviously faked interview, which is just the sum of all the fact boxes in the original magazine preview. This preview was the first to contain most of the unique info that we know about the game, and it's still the only one to mention nukes, barbarians, wonders, etc.

I also hope that they will change the "u" in the font to something that looks less similar to "v".

And that the advisor will give more complicated advices, and not "Make more culture!".

I wonder what the anchor sign above a city means. Maybe something connected with naval trade?
