Well, that's a bit of nice-to-know info...though in truth, I usually play a religous civ so I don't have a problem with anarchy.

For a while there I had a "religious fix". I only played civs with that trait. But I've tried to get away from that (not that I won't play one now), so I started branching out to basically play as many of the civ combos as I can. I learned about that particular info when I did.
BTW, I just checked the New Voice to make sure it would be able to support a scientist and it does. There will be no city growth during that phase, but it's not a big problem since the second citizen would only be able to work a forest tile anyway.

Rhoth - no I haven't. But I will. Especially as I am going to be away for the week after the one coming up. From Saturday to the following Sunday. So - someone is going to have to play the turns.
Going hiking in the Rockies, at Yoho National Park - including a day of hiking on the ice field.
Looking forward to it!Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

My vote is for Harry to play the turns while you're gone...if he wants to. If he doesn't I would probably be able to do it.

Ok. Sorry about the bad news Rhoth.
Even though I'm currently still on vacation in Sweden - I will be back home on 22 July. So if we need a fill-in for the 24-27 July timeframe, I can fill in.____________________________

I think that's definitely a better idea right now since I can't guarantee what I'll be doing next week. With luck her gamma knife treatment will work and we'll all go back to smooth sailing soon.

50bc turn played.
Quite a turn actually.
Received theology from Lego.
GoW sent the money for engineering and the money for the investigation plus wines.
So - I did not accept as we will not need luxuries for awhile. I explained that to them in the chat last night. They are OK with this and will resend the cash this turn.
Sent engineering to Lego.
Sent engineering to Gow.
Did NOT send engineering to RP as per the poll and discussion. Had lengthy chats with both GoW and RP last night. RP sounds a bit desperate.
Did the investigation. Cost 78 gold.
E-mailed that to GoW. BTW - check out their luxuries!
Moved galleys closer.
New Voice citizen to scientist. Starting printing press.
Wittlich produced settler. Moved him to the stack. All cities at size 1.
Gifted engineering and our four cites to GS.
And one last look...
New adventures await us gentlemen. And it will be fun watching a war from the sidelines.Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

Woo hoo! Let the festivities begin.
Looks good Beta. The dawn of our new empire coincides with AD times.
BTW, I find it interesting that pretty much everyone has turned against RP. Two civs actively at war with them, us spying for one of those, Lego encouraging us, and GS standing on the sidelines (so far at least).
