Well, you forgot to add that they cannot trade the new era advance for 10 turns - but that doesn't matter, since we can offer it for trade to other civs prior to giving it to them.

I could send another message, but I would like to arange trades now for the next era tech. Plus if they think they will be able to trade it they will be more willing to give more money.

I like the 10 turn clause as well. the problem with trading in advance is that we are not sure which we are going to get - although if I recall - it will be Monotheism. Since Lego is interested in giving us both Construction and Currency for our free tech, we should hold pretty firm on getting some gold out of GoW. Lego says we can have both in 10 turns. If GoW can not do the same or better, I suggest they make an alternate proposal for our free tech that does not include either of those techs (e.g., all gold proposal).Comment
