Regarding the potential deal for printing press, Vox Controli would be happy to sell the tech for gold or gold per turn or any combination of the two. We are seeking 250 gold for the tech, but would be willing to deal further if that price is too steep. We do realize the situation RP is in (since we are experiencing it ourselves ).

The nation of Vox Controli agrees to send the technology of printing press-unaccepted, upon completion of research at 500ad, to the nation of Roleplay. Upon receipt of printing press, Roleplay will send 10 gold per turn-accepted to Vox Controli and Vox Controli will accept for completion of this deal.

If Roleplay does wish to start the 10gpt payment to Vox Controli before Vox Controli completes research of printing press then Vox Controli will send printing press-accepted to Roleplay upon completion of research.

Our gold is pretty tied up. We just bought Astronomy from GS and are trying to get other techs from them at a discount by paying with GPT.
We have an extra lux (I think it’s incense). How about 20 turns of that instead of 200g?

I can understand RPs gold situation - we were in the same boat duing our "Voxidus." As for as getting incense for 20 turns instead of 200 gold, I'm OK with it. What does everyone else think?

Of course, we might want to have RP hold-off in giving us the incense for 20 turns until after our other luxury deal expires (Milk the luxuries for all they're worth!). We can tell RP that 20 turns of incense can be the payment. The incense would have to be available to us on demand though.

We don't need it right now, especially since Lego gave us their dyes, but a future option for a lux works for me. Unfortunately we either take the deal or RP will probably get it from another civ. Unless someone else has a problem with it I will get back to Togas within a few days with a deal.

We have received your offer of a luxury in exchange for printing press, but unfortunately Vox Controli currently has no need of a luxury. However we will need aluxury in the future. To that end Vox Controli offers the alternative deal of Roleplay sending 4gpt (totalling 80 gold) to begin in 600ad and a luxury that will begin in the future at a time of Vox Controli's choosing. In return we will send printing press-accepted in 500ad when we finish research. We recognize that Roleplay can not send gold in exchange in 500ad so we are willing to put off the gold payment off roughly 13 turns. If this is acceptable to Roleplay then we can draft a written agreement to this affect. We look forward to hearing from you.
