    I usually open it through the PTW icon on the conquests disk. If you have PTW loaded prior to loading then it requests the PTW disk, but if you haven't loaded it (as I hadn't on my new computer) then you can play PTW games using the conquests disk.

      - Renewal finishes marketplace. Start on aqueduct (can be changed later if needed)
      - VW#1 moves 2-2-3
      - VW#2 roads tile
      - VW#4 mines gold mountain
      - VW#6 moves 6-3
      - Check slider to see if we can go down another notch while maintaining 1 turn to democracy.
      - V.C.S. Intrepid and Fearless move 2-4-4
      - V.C.S. Discovery moves 8-8-7
      - V.C.S. Exploration moves 6-6-?

        Rhoth - I forgot we have astronomy now.

        May I suggest Exploration move 6-6-? instead of 9-9-9. Moving further north - we know we will find the arctic soon. But we want to find any islands. They will likely be at or below the latitude exploration is now.

        Discovery - yes probably best to go north one more turn.

        Wish we had gotten Fearless and Intrepid underway and in position to explore a bit earlier. I should have thought of it when we got vondrack's note.

        Anyways - happing hunting to our explorers. An island or two would be nice.

          Yeah I wish we had gotten the other two moving sooner as well. But they are close now as they will pass through Panama Vox this turn to begin patrolling the west. Have you received anything from Vondrack yet about his request for patrolling the area? I assume we won't get close to the Lego island but we need to know what they want.

                  There is no point to mining those tiles right now. They would only provide one food and two shields whereas the hill tiles provide one food and three shields. Each city can only work two of the one-food tiles until we research electricity and can irrigate all the grassland and plains tiles.

                    Yes - and with mined mountain tiles this should give us a fairly productive island.

                    Too bad it wasn't bigger.

                    Hi Jon! How's things? It's good to see you dropping in every now and then. You may not have noticed as you are not here every day - but Rhothaerill has done an outsanding job at rebuilding Vox. It actually has been a lot of fun. Not as much as the march south, but more fun than the defeat.

                    I am sort of looking forward to the next Poly Demo game. I for one would like to keep the same team. It is a good mix of folks. We just need to add one really good war monger .....

                    AND - we keep the name - and our shield. As Ghengis has pointed out - it is the best around.

                      I only like the big picture stuff actually (diplomacy, macro involvement)

                      and I have seen that Rhoth has done a good job rebuilding Vox, I was guessing that there was some good reason

                        Thanks guys. I've been having fun with trying to get us going. Relocating across half the world isn't exactly something you can do in an SP game.

                        If another Poly demo game happens where we keep Vox intact that sounds good to me. Though getting a war-guy in here would be great. I consider myself a better MMer than military strategist.

                          • Hey Beta I don't know how soon I will have a chance to play the turn tonight so if you can please go ahead. Otherwise I will get around to it a bit later.

                            Please note that ND has accepted the deal so I added them to the list of outgoing democracy deals. I'm going to contact GS and RP to see how they're doing.

                              Almost as per Rhoth's orders. All the deals and moves done as specifies - including the tech deals - we are 250 gold and +84gpt.

                              When Fearless moved off the coast - it spotted a GS galley. I kept Intrepid in the area. And to be on the safe side - I started some units moving toward the area - but I find it hard to believe this is a military action by GS. I expect this is exploration - and wanting to get a better map of Lego.
