Turn 400ad played
Turn played per my orders except for one change regarding Seabiscuit. I kept the WF on two hills and will do so for next turn as well to get the library finished slightly quicker.
Gathering Storm offered Invention accepted and I accepted it. When we finish Printing Press we now owe it to both Lego and GS.
If you take a look at the war, Pamplona is now in GoW's hands. It looks like the Bobian war is winding down. EDIT: Just looked at the FAM screen. It appears GoW and GS are no longer at war though they are with RP. ND is still at war with both.
We have 239 gold with +25gpt and Printing Press in 10 turns.

Turn 410ad Orders
EDIT: Added change to Hope, and naming workers
- Resurrection builds harbor. Next build to be library.
This should be done before worker moves - Workers should be named. The chop team are #s 1-5. The one on the mountain SW of Phoenix is #6 (can't be named until task is done). The one on the forest NE of Phoenix is #7. The three stack are #'s 8-10. The one on the gold hill is #11 (can't be named until task is done). And the one on the bonus grass is #12.
- Phoenix WF to roaded forest 9-9 of Phoenix and unroaded forest 6 of Phoenix. This needs to be done before the worker orders as I want to make sure the forest chop goes to Seabiscuit.
- Workers #1-5 move 2 (south) and chop forest. Shields should allocate to Seabiscuit. If not though it's not a big deal.
- Worker #7 moves 8-4 to mountain tile. Next turn he will move to the iron tile. I do not want to hook up iron yet so no road on this mountain.
- Worker #12 should move 2-2-2. This worker has now been tasked to be the one joined to New Voice in 3 turns.
- Workers #8-10 should move 1-4-2 to the tile west of Seabiscuit.
- Settler should move 2-3-3 to mined/roaded hill.
- WF in Irony back to 3 coast tiles.
- WF in the New Voice back to 3 mined grassland tiles (should show growth of city in 3 turns and completion of barracks in 3 turns).
- WF in Resurrection to remain on 2 mined hills for quick library build.
- WF in Hope to fish tile and mined hill tile.

Now that I have a clearer idea of the worker picture from my future planning thread I'm convinced we will not need the harbor in Hope after all. Especially not when we'd have to spend 250+ gold to get it. Instead we will build a library before more workers (the reasons are in the future planning thread) and use the gold for horseman upgrades to knights. By turn 20 we will have 5 horsemen which will cost 400 gold to upgrade. By that time I would like to have chivalry as we will also be connecting the iron at that time. We should have the 400 gold by the time we research printing press and then we can press on with near max research. If we build any more horsemen we'd need a lot more gold and that would mean less available for research. So by turn 20 I want to have us building full-fledged knights instead of horsemen for upgrade.

Assuming the save gets around to us soon, I should be around most of the week to play it (except for Thursday ). If someone else plays it instead though, please make sure to pick up all the orders. A lot of my future planning will depend on this particular turn for setup. If you have any questions about why a particular order is as shown, go the future planning thread as it details out the moves for each turn.
Pretty soon I should have the turn-by-turn written and posted.

410ad played.
All orders as per above were followed - with the following additions and comments.
Got astronomy and music theory from Lego.
Upgraded vet galley in SeaB to caravel for 20 gold.
Moved vet galley from memory to renewal for upgrading as well.
Renamed workers as recommended. I used the acronym VW#1 for Vox Worker#1. I also have owned a number of the cars - including two beetles, a golf, and a jetta.
I hope the naming convention is OK. If it is a problem - I will not be upset if it is changed.
Resurrection - Library in 7 turns.
The shields from the forest cut did indeed go to SeaB.
Hope - gorws in 2, Library in 13 now.
Also - please see the RP FA thread for the offer which came with the save.

The naming convention works for me. It was only done to differentiate the workers for my future planning threads. As long as they have the numbers I'm happy.
Regarding the RP offer, 30 is obviously too far away and we'll be getting banking soon enough anyway. I don't have a problem giving it to them for "future concessions" since GS undoubtedly will anyway.

Regarding the move - sorry Rhoth - I checked with the control panel first too see if you were on-line (you were not) before I played, Had I known you would be here in the next 15 minutes - I would have waited.
The place is coming along. What do we want to do as the next rush build? No use keeping the money in the bank doing nuthin'. Or is the plan to amass the upgrade funds necessary for building knights?

s'okay. I just wanted to make sure this turn was done exactly as I had written it. There are several timing issues set up by this turn.
We will need 400 gold for the 5 horsemen to upgrade to knights on turn 20. We will have 9 more turns of +25 or so gpt before going to max research. If we do want to rush a building I'd prefer Irony's library as it will be the longest to build straight out. We don't have to have all five knights at the same time.
BTW, regarding RP and GoW tech deals I will contact both soon. To GoW I'll ask for chivalry and perhaps a 20 turn extension on our luxury deal. To RP I'll ask for cash and future considerations. I'll probably do that within the next day or two, though we have a few weeks before the 9 turns are up.

Sorry Rhoth - misread your note.
Regarding cash - I used 20 for the caravel upgrade so we can check out possible island sites to the NE. vondrack has indicated that the site to the NW is a bust.
I was going to upgrade a second caravel - and use it to maybe do some exploring farther to the east - north of GoW. However - if you would rather we save our cash - that is OK too.
