I saw the vigor and enthusiasm you presented for the ISDG, so asking you was a natural reaction. Everyone here is pleased to have you within our ranks.

          Thanks again.

I was wondering in anyone vcould tell me how to access the files listed in the "Game Status" thread.

This is the link for the 'saves' that I click on, but I seem to get some sort of error. Thanks.

This is the error I get.

Warning: dir(/home/virtual/site100/fst/var/www/html/lux.aomgamer.com/saves) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/aomgamer/public_html/lux/index.php on line 38

That's odd. It's probably expired or something. From now on I'll add the save file to every game report thread, including the most recent (1450 BC).

If we win, we will be able to recode all of the civ software from scratch,

If things continue as planned, we'll win.

However, our focus will be military-military-military. Big navy at first (since no one can get to us unless they have boats), then we'll focus on Horsemen/Knights so we can build up our Siphais. Once we're ready, we unleash hell on our former continent. GoW will fall. ND will fall. The entire northern half of the continent will become ours once again.

                        Difficult?

                        Yes.

Like I said... think lots of units!

For Vox to keep us around soley for the purpose of recieving the 'free' tech adance at the begining of a new age sounds pretty thin. They may be just playing us.

Is there anyway to get a settler on a galley out of there before they'd think we should be done?(in case they come to destroy our Civ after having their laugh)

Maybe we should try to send out two settlers on different galleys if time constraints don't come into play.

We could play things off as though we were just building Workers, but I don't think it's necessary. They've proven they mean what they say, though they are quite opportunistic, as our latest contact with them proves. We simply need to appease them until we leave. Once we get a Settler on that boat, then it doesn't matter.

Just for the record, we already paid them 150 gold and we owe them 6 techs, which is quite a hefty sum, and well worth the loss of 1 city for a short period of time, IMO.

When we leave what is the plan for the remaining city after we've sent settler(s) on their merry way?

Are we going to disband it? Plant a nuke! (a departing gift)

Are we supposed to 'turn it over' to them?

Do they know we are leaving and where we are going (for the short term)?

Do we plan on keeping that city until we 'pay them back'? Is that what they expect?

                              Sorry for all the ???'s
