We'll be giving it back to them once we have a new city on the Lego continent (either that or when we depart, I forget which... ). Vox knows where we're going (it's a very big secret right now). GS knows that we'll be going 'somewhere else', but no one else in the game knows a thing. Vox knows that we'll be giving them the city back.
