The lady has smiled fortune on us today... however we need to assume that nothing has changed aside from 8 less marines, a couple of tanks and some settlers less to worry about.

Even if we pen them in we have to assume they will break out...

Could I also make a request? When the results are posted in the public forum please don't trash talk. We have an excellent reputation and it doesn't need to be spoilt by being bad winners Even if we do want to shout about how the GS force got it up the ass from a 16" battleship gun

      Wise words. Very wise words.

Let me second the request regarding the trash talking. I myself would feel soooo happy to scream out how great we've done this turn and how we sent all those fvcking GS bastards to the bottom of the sea... but keep in mind that "the enemy" is people like us. Civ players, excellent civ players, that worked hard for many weeks to put the invasion together. Seeing their plans hit with something as unlikely as what has just happened is going to make them feel sick anyway.

No need to rub it in, please.

      Thanks.

Chronicle entry updated - I hope I have put everything right. I updated it following the log of my chat with redstar (I was making "notes" there while playing the turn), but some details were apparently incorrect - I must have been too excited to properly see how many hp this or that had left.

I believe the chronicle entry is correct now - I am going to check during a replay (to take pictures).

I agree. Would we like it if they rubbed had that turn went the opposite way.

Of course, let's not forget we still have GoW to deal with on the other side...

And yes, let's keep the trash talk to non-existance

I cannot believe that we were able to sink all those ships. I think that is is great news for us. Maybe this will force GS to abort its landing.

I think trash talking is not a good idea as well.

OK, there was one omission - I left the attack of H.B.S. Pollux out. Fixed.

I was wondering if there is any way to blonk the unguarded transports this turn with one of our battle ships?

Blonk? Block or bonk? We used everything we had to attack, nothing else that could still strike. As for using our BBs to block the transports, I am trying to think up the best way of doing that...

I was thinking of forming a box around the transports with the BB.

On anther note, in November our team turned a year old. Can you believe the game has been going on for a year now?
