Note that if we rush a cat in Sandstorm, the only place it can attack without opening itself to counterattack is against Vox's eastern immortals. We'd probably end up with a pike, a sword, a cat, and maybe a WC or two if we can spare them (which is not guaranteed) against three immortals, one of which may or may not be injured from attacking us last turn.

Our Pike 87 from EotS should be able to hold that mountain 6 of SS, especially with the Med Inf also coming along. Vox said they landed more troops in the E coast, so one of our first moves should be to move our galleys up to check what we need to prepare for.

My inclination for what to do with the Elite is to attack everything with vets until we're down to one unjured horseman left as a target and see what the elite WC's best target of opportunity is at that point.

DeepO, one of the cats is 64, so we'd end up with 39 gold if we rush both.

Another thought is to rush a Settler in SS, and relocate it. We lose a bit of pop (and a cat), but getting that city away from the Mountains allows us to focus all our east defense on Hurricane 8.

With a 20-shield WC attacking a 30-shield immortal, and given how hard it is for Vox to replace its forces, I can live with that. Besides, for an immortal to kill the WC, it would have to come out to play.

We can't rush a settler and get a cat in Whirlwind both. And for the moment, I kind of like having Whirlwind as a target to tempt Vox.

The Hurricane WC would be good for cleaining up a wounded unit at Arashi 6. Given the odds it's likely there will be a close battle or two... then like Nathan said, it may draw one more Immortal off the Mountains.

Use them to help clear up the Immortals and the GoW units and to escape.

They would be regs. The one in Monsoon would never be able to break out.
