BTW, in case anyone thought I was too paranoid...
There was a 'Trip' in there this evening. That 'Trip' did not act like any 'Trip' we know, and that 'Trip' did not feel like identifying himself in this thread.
I hope the real Trip was not there this evening.(\__/)

Actually, I hope it was the real Trip because if it wasn't him then it means another team is cheating.
If Trip denies entering the chat room then there should be some stern questions asked on the public forum.
Did you just boot him from the room as soon as it became clear he was suspicious? If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

We ended up building the Great Lighthouse after Aeson and Sir Ralph switched their votes - and good thing too; Vox has two immortals on the mountains north of Hurricane and will likely have a third next turn. (That's one of the things that helped cause vote switches.) Our galleys are headed north to stop such incursions; we'll use our next galley (finished in two turns) to go up the west coast.
Also, I made a last-second change after sending the screenshot: I switched Tornado from a WC to a 3-turn medieval infantry (now two turns from completion). I figure a medieval infantry is likely to be a lot more valuable against the troops around Hurricane, and I calculate that he'll barely be finished in time to get in on the action if we get in trouble. Hope that's okay with everyone.

The bigger stack has 4 reg and 4 vet immortals. Unsure about the smaller, should be a total of 4 immortals, but don't know their experience.
Btw, we missed to move a unit towards the 2 approaching immortals on the eastern mountains. Now it will be hard to stop them before the iron / Hurricane.
