we've run into a big problem. Hopefully it was a bug, it could be miscommunication.

We agreed on silks for 20 turns plus 570 gold for combustion right? Last turn, I asked for silks to be sent to us, as otherwise most of our cities went out of WLTKD. I received your 570 gold (for which we're grateful), however there was no silks included. Did you send it, or did you perhaps forgotten about it?

Silks aren't that critical to us, however most of our cities were finely tuned to run into WLTKD... losing that status, and the little added corruption totally messed up our plans, and costs us quite a few builds. It was a bit of a shock, an estimate of some 200 shields have been lost.

If you sent it, but somehow it did not register in the trade screen (it won't be the first time, the diplo stuff is very buggy), we're going to ask for a replay, as it was a big loss to us. Either we somehow figure out how to send the lux properly, or we go back to our turn 1030 AD and set the slider a bit higher for happiness, so our cities remain happy. If you did not sent it but forgot about it, could you then please make absolutely sure you sent it this turn? We're relying on the lux for our builds next turn

Well to admit it frankly I'm quite well known for forgetting things but I'm quite sure that I sent those silks since I realised that you needed it really this very turn.
I'd say let Trip replay the turns to find out if or if not it was my fault. If it was my fault ND will pay reparations if you want, if not, you should adjust your luxury sliders...

Simply cancel the silks deal, and offer a new one in addition to the gold.

That should fix the problem based on my testing.

Please play the save as you did before, by sending us both silks and the gold. We set our slider to more happiness, to counter the bug. We did however also cancel the silks deal, perhaps this will help (might be needed for future deals).

Let's hope it doesn't happen too often anymore, as those delays are not pleasant

I think canceling the deal by you made definitaöy a difference since I was
now able to send it imediately.
I gues I sent it twice anyway just to be sure not to miss anything. So, if
you really get 1140g instead of 570g just resent the surplus

it seems that cancelling the deal from our side, before sending it to you was the solution, we received the silks like intended. We also received the 570 gold twice, so I sent 570 gold back to you.

It's a pity we lost the gold before discovering how to solve, it, but oh well. At least the game is moving again

(seeing as Darekill is still enjoying his holiday)

It seems we are hit by the same bug as Legoland, so watch out when opening your diplomacy screen. Most likely, you've lost all your 'active deal' information, and will crash when you try to see it. It's better to test this out in the beginning of the turn, then at the end, like I did

Further, could I ask you if you're working on espionage?
