Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Good start. Even with a luxury . And our industrious worker will make us food.

If we're thinking in terms of building the city where we stand, we need to move our worker first. I would suggest the fur to the southeast; clear the forest and irrigate and we have a 2-food, 2-production, 2-gold tile even before we build a road. And if we see something with the worker that justifies moving the settler, we can.

                      Thoughts, anyone?

What is it, 5 turns to clear with industrious? Or 7?

Good plan to get us started with a couple of units, Nathan. There are 2 more such tiles, with just 1 gold less. And for fast settlers, we can later irrigate the floodplains.

I'm not a first turn mover myself, so

btw: where does the worker have to move to??

                                5. Quicker than a non-industrious would mine a grassland.
