  • Oh, I'm off to bed, but could someone please go over my calculations, and confirm I'm not wrong in my assumptions?

    • OK, I'll send that. Have the arty used to pillage around our stack been taken into account?

      • GoW can more or less protect its arts, if it pillages the roads around it. No more blitzing from Lego tanks. The turn after that, they can use transports to either remove them, reallocate them, or send in more defenders.

        • CH, no arty needed. They could have used cavs, or even tanks (if those are defending in Jackson and Dye). A Cav can first of all pillage, and afterwards be used to seed s rush in a city...

          • Mammoth Report sent to GoW (it took 3 PMs to send).

            • I simply can't stop...

It will all depend on what GoW wants to accomplish with this war. If they want new territory, this might be their chance as well (but in that case I demand to see their defense plan, I think we're entitled to that if we spoonfeed them how to get that territory).

Let's say they chain 8 cavs to Lego, all cities are empty, and they can take Stanwix (where does this name come from anyway?). This means they can take 8 cities... all in one patch. Jackson, Dye, and Castlea is not possible with cavs (Jackson and Dye might be possible with tanks, but that would be stretching it very thin), but all the rest, up to Forkmouth ot even Sando is theirs. 8 cavs = 8 cities. If they decide to keep those instead of razing them, that's some nice little territory!

But as said, if they want to gain land, instead of damaging Lego, they must explain to us how they are going to defend it. We might never get such a chance again, so in case Lego takes it all back next turn, we wouldn't be helped one single bit.

                  • Okay, another idea: In case GoW is going to take 8 cities, razing stuff, pillaging tresuries and we tell them how they can do it, would it be too much to ask for a bit of gold in compensation? If they really can take half of Lego's empire, they'll get half of their treasury as well. And every factory they sell gives what, 48 gold? We can surely use another 500 gold or so!

Look who's talking, are you half my age yet? And I waited too long for this save, all this bottled energy simply has to find its way out.

                      • Sending the settler tidbit is the right move IMO. I think factories go for 60 gold and 60 shields (with recycle), but that is from memory and for C3C.

I suspect MZ is well aware of it anyway.

Maybe.... you are more active on the strat forum, maybe it has been mentioned there a couple of times already. When I was still around, I never saw it, though. And in case Legopolis would be empty, someone who is as good as Vondrack doesn't know it either.

True... but hey, I've got nothing better to do. I've stayed up until 7 am for this game, so this is still ok.

Besides, I need very little sleep, only 4 hours suffice.

                              But I'll be off now

Meanwhile I'm slaving away at work... and Apolyton...
