I need to log off, probably for the night. I may be able to get back on briefly later. If not, well, I've left pretty detailed comments. If I'm overridden, that's fine. But for the first time in a long time, I feel like I've done my job (as co-general of the armies).

Sorry for being a slouch in the past.

Looks good, though I'd still be inclined to suggest a galley in Tornado before the marketplace.

I see we could have Invention in 4 turns or Astronomy in 7. That's not bad going for a civ with just a handful of libraries. I suppose we need to have the what & when to research debate soon.

Hurricane is commercial giant - Colossus, river, 3 lux tiles and low corruption. Anyone fancy a stab at 'Pernies if we go for Astronomy ?

I am positive that the time has come to gift Miller Town to RP as insurance for their continued survival.

If Pamplona falls before we give RP a city in North Stormia, they would be able to circle round towards Barcelona and be in position to snuff RP before RP had a chance to accept. ie, RP gone.

I am fine with accepting Toledo and New Madrid for us to defend again, but we better get some units into NM if we do.

Totally cool, Arrian, totally cool... and you ain't no slouch (Although you should be playing Emperor... And on that note, doesn't the happiness feel *ridiculously* easy?).

I feel about a MILLION times more on top of things than for the turn on Friday. Amy and I just ordered some Chinese, so I will play the turn after that... figure around 10:30pm EST.

Anybody else wants to chime in, go ahead. When I play, I'll do it in chunks so people can comment.

Note / question for all: There are some things I need to do while in the production phase via switching cities before all production actually takes place... please highlight those actions for me.

          Chinese is here.

Please note my post re Miller Town and RP survival.

Furthermore, beware the recently completed double highway through the mountains to Pamplona.

Beta 4444 is that tile with both options, but we could lose surprise if they have lookouts at YK 333 or 332. I assume they have no ships over there.

OTOH, if there are GoW lookouts, it could raise the diplomatic tempo. They'll also be finally getting a good eyeful of our forces in the south this turn .

I accept RP's offer. I will offer them Miller Town and HH at the end of the turn.

                    PRODUCTION

The Voice builds a Spear; switched to Worker.
Sufa builds a Horseman; switched to Worker.
[I go into the serial city screens at this point]
                    Sandstorm switched to Pike.
                    HH left alone.
Toledo is on Pike; left alone.
Monsoon is on Galley; left alone.
                    OG switched to Galley.
                    Beta on Galley; left alone.
                    Whirlwind on Galley; left alone.
                    Sirocco on Cat; left alone.
                    Inchoff on Courthouse; left alone.
                    Inchon on Spear; left alone.
Blizzard switched to Galley (Arrian, it has 2 extra food, and we need pickets).
Winds of Change switched to Galley (same logic).
Santa Ana on WC; left alone.
New Madrid on Pike... interesting, it is producing 5 out of 17 shields after corruption, and we actually got the shields... left alone (has Barracks and Granary).
                    EotS on Knight; left alone.
Wittlich City on Spear; left alone.
Miller Town on Spear, with 7 shields done... IF I RUSH IT NOW FOR 52 GOLD, WILL IT COMPLETE THIS TURN?

                    [pause]

                      Aaaah, screw it, can't wait:

Miller Town changed to Worker, rushed for 12g.
Hurricane changed to Uni (I still can't get over happiness).
Cyclone changed to Aquaduct (grows to 6 pop this turn, currently at 4 excess food).
                      Bolderberg on Harbor; left alone.
D-ville (growth in 3, Galley done in 4); left alone, Aquaduct next.
                      Elipolis changed to Harbor.
                      Tempest on Knight; left alone.
                      Tornado changed to Market.
                      Typhoon on Horse; left alone.
                      Arashi changed to Market.

How many Workers to road flatland in one turn? I have an idea around Fort Lib.

Worker at Pamp 6 moves 8.

Horse in Sufa sent to OG.

Southern Galley retreats to Barc 211.

4 Knights unloaded at Sirocco, sent to Pamp 6 and fortified.'

2 Galleys in Sirocco sent to Barc 9.

2 Galleys at OG 77 sent to Sirocco 6... 4 Knights woken and unloaded.

WC at OG 8 sent to OG.

Worker at Blizzard 11 irrigates. Worker at Blizzard 23 moves8 and mines. Worker at Santa Ana 99 mines. 4 Workers near WoC mine and road. Workers near D-ville clear. Worker at Beta 23 moves 7 and mines. Worker at HH 8 moves 88 and starts to clear.

12 Knights and 4 Pikes loaded at Beta / Beta 4... 8 Galleys moved to sea at Beta 4441... no enemy sighted.

General re-shuffling in the north, to get Spears onto the coast and MedInfs into Beta for the second northern wave against Bob.

Horse in OG and Warrior in Beta upgraded.

No, it will be wasted gold. RP will have the city before our next turn and all we have accumulated/rushed will be gone.
