I'm going to leave 4 pikes (1 elite) in Toledo. It's a hardened fortress which gives a vet pike a 78% chance of defeating a vet rider (88% of the pike is elite). I'd like to see GoW try to take it.
5 knights and 4 cats will move 12 from Toledo (it is necessary to move them to where they can be relevant, and this position might turn out to be useful, depending on GoW's next moves).
1 MI from Toledo will move 4 to get closer to ND's scout. They'll probably run away, but the purpose is not to kill the scout (which we can't do unless ND lets us), it is to prevent it from keeping watch on us from that direction.
I'm thinking of moving 2 MIs and a pike from Toledo to Toledo-8, in order to attack ND's watch-MI on the mountain at Toledo-89 next turn and take it over with a pike. It'll provide us with a nice early warning system.

I've had a problem with Civ for quite a while.
When I start it, my refresh rate is lowered to something that feels like 60 Hz. The screen resolution doesn't change.
Until now this wasn't a problem because I don't play Civ these days outside GS, but now it is irritating because the lower refresh rate hurts my eyes and I can't keep the save open all the time (the low refresh rate is retained when I alt-tab to other apps). Any idea why this is happening and how I might be able to fix it?

Here's a thought: GoW could be trying for a fork again. They might send their units to the hill in NM 12, from which they can threaten NM, Sirocco and Barcelona.
I hope they'll do that, because then we'll have a golden opportunity to hit them with a cat, MIs and knights; including the units that'll arrive into Sirocco next turn, we should have enough to render a stack of 11 riders on hills ineffective, perhaps even gone completely.

That's where I looked at first, but I couldn't find anything of this sort.
There's KeepRes (used for keeping the desktop resolution in the game, IIRC). I tried on and off and neither brought relief to my sore eyes.

Arriving next turn? All of the pikes are down and ready to move, right? We could arrange for 2 more knights next turn, I think.
