Regarding building the FP in Arashi and disbanding it later...

Interesting idea, but then we would have to rebuild any improvements in Arashi (market, library). So factor those in. That's 180 shields. The idea has merit, because it offers flexibility, but it has its downside (like all the avenues open to us).

I say we start on your proposal. It will take Arashi some time to build the FP (~15 turns?), and who knows? Maybe something will go down on Bob in that timeframe (GoW expects Chivalry in what, 5 turns?). That also leaves us some time to discuss this (critical) matter further. Right now, it's just been you, me, Nathan, and Vel.

p.s. Regarding events on Bob, do you guys think it might be a good idea to have our galleys fully loaded and ready to go at a moment's notice? I do.

I don't think we need a Market in Arashi, the luxuries should be enough to keep it at size 10. Just need a Courthouse. We could drop that too, but it's worth more than 80 shields in the 40+ turns it will be around. Becomes closer when the extra turns shaved off the FP and the effect it will have on surrounding cities is factored in. Probably we come out slightly ahead on gpt by building the Courthouse, and slightly behind on shields (when considering 'wasted' shields).
