  • I figure the galley is toast, but I've never done it. You might crash the game, watch out!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

    • Oh, and Nathan, I like that daring idea of yours.

      Daring indeed.

      Guts 'n glory!

The faster we take Vox down, the less time they have to work out a survival plan with Lego.

      • *yawn*

My, look at the time. It's late.

Do we have a concensus on what we're doing?

        • Two resistors.

By the way, we may be able to hold Elipolis after all with the right luck and the wrong moves on Vox's part (most notably not thinking to pillage the road we'd need to move troops over to bring them in from Inchoff).

          • Our second elite WC is 2/5. I'm putting both WCs and a vet MedInf in Elipolis and withdrawing the pikes to Inchon.

Any objections if I bring four of our six Inchoff pikes along with our MedInfs to reinforce the Inchon/Elipolis area?

            Comment

            • No objection here.

              • Also, any objections if I have one galley waste a move to cover our galley with our MedInfs in case RP might try something and have our other galleys head back to our core for reinforcements? (That would leave us with enough empty sealift capability near Inchon to move four pikes from Inchon to Elipolis if Vox gives us the breathing room to do so safely.)

                • Yeah, protect that transport ship.

RP probably won't try anything, but I'm wary as hell.

                  • And do we want to build that eastern desert city (near the bonus grasslands, north of Hurricane) this turn?

                    Comment

                    • Why not? No threatening Voxian units, right? Connected to our road system, yes (so we can reinforce if need be)?

                      Plunk 'er down, captain!

                      • Our total MedInf establishment is fourteen veterans and five regulars. We're also up to eleven cats. Do you think that, plus our numerous horsemen and WCs, should be enough?

                        Comment

                        • Any idea for a name? "Winds of Victory" occurs to me.

                          Comment

                          • Oh, can we stop cat production at this point? 11 is a lot.

19 med infs, a couple of which are in danger for the upcoming Voxian turn. Let's take worst-case, and write those off. So 12 vets, 5 regs. Yeah, ok, that's enough.

Seabreeze is another possibility. We could rename Eliopolis Winds of Victory.

                            • I'd like to go ahead and build temples in EotS and Hurricane while we have them at 30 shields instead of ~20. For Arashi and Tempest, I'm inclined to prioritize marketplaces over libraries, partly for happiness reasons once we get more luxuries and partly because we may or may not be doing much researching in the near future, if the team is willing to go ahead and switch over to builder mode.

                              • Concur on the 30-shielders. Markets first otherwise, definitely.

New city starts on a courthouse, maybe?

Oh, by the way, how happy are we that Vox didn't pillage the road this turn? If they had, we couldn't have rushed a pike in Inchon (spear instead).
