Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I'd like to go ahead and switch us over to builder mode. With Vox's GA over and the kind of superiority we have now (especially after Vox's losses in the last couple turns), I think we can finish Vox off with the units we have. And the lack of city improvements is really going to mess us up in terms of research and finances once our GA ends in another turn or two.
We killed six units: a regular pike in the east, an immortal by Inchon, and three spears and a warrior in Elipolis. And Vox only killed one of our units in return. Still, losing the free upkeep plus the revenue from Elipolis probably will have a negative or at least neutral effect on their overall finances.
Perhaps keeping some cash reserve in case of..?
Other then that , all in all a good turn

So they lost 6 units on our turn. You figure they lost 5 units on their turn.
We lost 1 unit on our turn. We lost 6 on theirs.
11 to 7. Not the best results, but pretty good.
How many pikemen do they have left, total? How many med infs do we have left, total? Because we won't be killing pikemen with WCs or Horsemen (unless they're redlined), will we?
I'm still holding the turn on the issue of whether to keep or raze Elipolis. I guess we could keep it and make it clear to Vox that if they move to attack it, we will probably have no choice but to abandon it rather than have it fall back into their hands. But I don't like our odds of holding it if Vox pushes an attack.
strange?
I can post here, but nowhere else???
I'm logged in etc.
If you get banned, do you get a notice? Not that I would know why I would have been banned...

The only major down side is that it leaves two 1hp vet MedInfs vulnerable if Vox has anything handy to counterattack with. As you pointed out, MedInfs are a key commodity for us right now. (We have about fourteen vets and at least three regulars that I can think of off the top of my head, including the wounded ones in the Inchon area. That also includes two new ones finished this turn.)
I don't think we should try to hold Elipolis either way. If we keep Elipolis for a turn though, we can unload some Med Inf in the city next turn and still move them, either to go north on a Spear/Warrior killing rampage (best bet, they could hit HH or BbtW the turn after), or to hit any units Vox moves next to Elipolis.
If we dare, we could unload two vet MedInfs in Elipolis next turn, send them and the one we leave there this turn to Harry's Hideout 2 (a hill), and then disband Elipolis. Depending on how quickly Vox can come up with troops to respond, we just might get Harry's Hideout. In terms of pillaging, we could perhaps pillage Elipolis itself and Elipolis 8-7, probably using our 4hp WC for the latter and then having it join the stack by Harry's Hideout. So Vox would face an unroaded tile, a roaded tile, and then another unroaded tile, slowing them down just as much as if all the tiles were pillaged. I think that would buy time to bring in reinforcements by galley to take another big chunk out of Vox's core before Voxian reinforcements can get there.
By the way, does anyone know what happens to a galley that's in a city when the city is abandoned?
