they have lost 4 Immortals, and we've lost 6 Pikes.

I'd say they were really lucky.

        Hugely lucky.

        Our walls are down, right?

So even then, our pikes were at 5.25 versus their attack of 4. ****ty luck, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

By my count, Vox presumably lost five. (Four of the immortals in the area are presumably reinforcements we saw out of attack range last turn.) But most of their survivors are injured, which gives us a better chance holding out until reinforcements arrive.

Both cats missed, so we'd have to go through an uninjured vet pike to get to the elite immortal. The question is, do we want to do that or go after the veteran immortal at I3? (In the latter case, our second MedInf would likely do better fortifying than attacking if the first succeeds, since his only options would be to attack uninjured vet pikes or put himself out in the open for Vox to attack him.)

              Hmm...

Hit the vet, then. Let's be cautious about this.

Kill the vet immortal and hole up.

I'd say I3... our job for the moment is to lessen the threat without risking too many hps.

I moved a galley, and Vox has a vet warrior at I3-3-2.

The vet at I3 is dead. (Edit: We took two hit points' damage.) Oh what I wouldn't give to still have an elite WC in Inchon to go after the regular and withdraw back to the city (assuming it wins)!

                      Good job.

                      Off topic:

Yankees win, thhhhhhaaaaaa Yankees win! Clemens wins his 300th. Mariano nails it down.

That's better. Much, much better, boys (than being no-hit by the freakin' Astros).

I'm not sure, but couldn't we get one there if we take Elipolis?

Do we want to take a shot at Elipolis and see if we might be able to capture or raze it, or do we want to pull our troops back to Inchon?

No. We'd need (1) roads that don't exist and (2) Vox's other forces out of the way.

We have what, 2 elite WCs & a vet med inf to hit it with, plus a pike for cover?

Why not attack with a WC or two, and see how things go. If we are winning, keep going. If we lose/retreat, run away.
