This isn't news, but you don't exactly need a supercomputer to weasel info from the save.

There was some leftover diplo crap in the save, so I asked Gramphos to use his mad l33t h4x0r sk!lz, and the game is now fixed!

Posting the save in the Lego forum, and hopefully they won't take 5 more days to play it.

lol, probably true. I'd hope we're all honorable sorts ... well, most of us

You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Oh yeah, there shouldn't be 3 peace treaties or anything weird like that between teams any more either.

I can confirm that the save seems to be fixed - at least we can safely end turn immediately after loading it, which was impossible before.

I've just posted the battle log of a major military operation planned for this turn in our private forum. I hope we'll be able to finalize our plans with respect to the outcome of this battle throughout tomorrow and play the rest of our turn Tuesday morning, forwarding the save then.

                      Now... I... need... some... sleeeeeeeee....

As it has been 36 hours now since we got the save, I thought I'd give you all a heads up on where we are. We will need at least 24h more, possibly even closer to 2 days. We're trying our best to keep this thing rolling, but too many factors weigh in (like not knowing what happened on GoW's side ).

I can tell you one thing, Lego. You're not going to like our battle report. Sorry

Do you think we like any of your battle reports?

Probably not. And OTOH, it does make this game exciting again, no?

I have found out I am not big on excitement... I can happily live without excitement of this kind.

I don't know, vondrack. Only last turn, you mentioned that there was more activity in one turn time, than in the previous 4 months or so. Maybe this is more stress than excitement, but at least something is happening.

Of course, we've been preparing this war for over 6 months, for us it is something to look forward to. And I don't mean winning a battle, but just thinking about it, seeing how you react, and the constant tweaking of plans (if plans survive a turn, as you've been masters in doing exactly the right thing to bother us, so far) is great. It also gives us more opportunities for team interaction, and the forum has been buzzing lately. As long as you're micromanaging, nobody really needs a team... but after all, we all joined this game to play the game in a team atmosphere.
