Kyller's Big Ol' Compilation: Leaders thru the ages
Here's the better Xerxes and additonal Montezuma pic I spoke of.
It's got every leader except for a conspicuously missing Alexander.

"God has given no greater spur to victory than contempt of death." - Hannibal Barca, c. 218 B.C.
"We can legislate until doomsday but that will not make men righteous." - George Albert Smith, A.D. 1949 The Kingdom of Jerusalem: Chronicles of the Golden Cross - a Crusader Kings After Action Report
Here's the industrial Gandhi I spoke of and a slightly more pleasant Catherine.
By the way, Kyller, you're going to post these new pics, aren't you?
(Keeping you busy? )
Edit - Sorry, missed the pic again - I'll get it.

Also, your Catherines are mixed up. I think your renaissance should be industrial (she looks like Victoria) and you industrial should be ancient. Renaissance Catherine should be her in a powdered white wig with frou-frou costume - her "natural" appearance.

And Catherine dressed like a French maid? I'm glad I'm a few centuries too late to witness that myself.

Actually, if you look closely, Abe's BG changes subtely. Outside of the window, it changes from an open field to renaissance buildings to the U.S. Capitol. Sorry the pictures aren't any bigger.
I'm curious as to why one of the Ghandis has nasty looking boils on his head. He looks desicated and about to die. Is it "Cadaver Ghandi"? "VD Ghandi"? The real Ghandi was supposed to be obsessed with bowel movements...this one looks like a BM could bring about his death.
If Catherine shows up with those ugly boils, then we'll know there is an alliance between the Indians and Russians in place! Ugh! Those two, with Liz being an arguable vote, are the ugliest leaders in this game.
I think that it's because the Gandhi in question comes off of the "Defeat" screenshot. Joan (the player's leader) looks beat up 'cause she lost. Maybe Gandhi was also defeated?
I'll wager that India was allied with France and got beaten with them - though Gandhi isn't the human player, so he's not all bandaged up like Joan (or in hte center). Joan was defeated, and Gandhi, her ally, though not eliminated, was badly thrashed. Notice that everyone else is pleased.
