It looks like the two ideas with the most support are Total Eternal Forever War and The Power of Fascism (replaying Power of Communism with a different target government). So how about if we have a runoff between those two ideas and then start playing?

I won't play another Eternal War Forever. My reputation, you know...
Why not The Power of Money? The goal would be to cash in the maximum of gold (50'000, then 75, then 100).
Of course, we have to set a few rules, as to build all buildings asa as they are available and to finish the game in a certain time frame.
For the rest, it would be a free for all game. Go Democracy or Fascism, play a small civ or go conquer, every startegy would be open. The 'winner' would be the one with the most gold for a win on a certain date (somebody would fix up some nice equation to do this).
The most obvious civ: France. The Mountain Sage of the Swiss Alps

The idea of a game where the object is to collect gold seems too artificial to me. The importance of money is not in hoarding it for its own sake, but rather in what you can buy with it. In general, if you're building up a big hoarde of gold, you aren't using gold wisely.

The Give Peace A Chance course was played with the Americans, the Power of Communism with the Germans.
Since players were not allowed to build any military units with the Americans the first time around, I think this is a prime opportunity for AU to test out the least-used UU, the F-15.
Assuming, of course, that the Power of Fascism wins the vote. And her eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming...
