Thats greatr Nuke but I still think you need to rephrase your question. Its still not clear,

So come on folks, Nuke needs your input, how can we make AU better for everyone???

I'm active with the AU Mod (even when I'm just lurking... which is often...) but usually only have limited time to spend on the courses. It would be interesting if we could somehow come up with shorter, more focused courses. Such as providing a certain situation with the aim of achieving a certain goal. In other words, start somewhere mid-game and everyone tries to pursue a specific goal (conquer neighbor; obtain difficult resource; build specific wonder, etc.); then compare the strategies. Such mini-courses could be played in a short amount of time, but they would take a LOT more time to setup. Plus I know from watching the succession game that it's hard to pick up where someone else left off.

After being torn for a few days, I finally voted, "I'm an active member and I participate in most AU Courses." It's a definite understatement of my activity level, but it at least has the virtue of not being false. Every once in a while, there's an AU course that I simply don't think would be enough fun or useful enough to me to be worth my time. For example, the last (if I remember correctly) PtW AU course made it a goal not to trigger a GA while at the same time making it easier to trigger a GA through wonders, and to me, those two elements together seemed too contradictory to make for either a fun game or something I was likely to learn a lot from.

Would you mind posting that in the AU "Publicity Stunt" thread?

I play an AU game once in a while, but I don't think I will bother to upgrade from 1.15b to 1.22. That would probably mean the end of my participation.
