US Turn
Wall Street Journal
The US economy booms as international trade topple the most optimistic expectations.
US Funds Transport returning from a fruitful trade mission in the Orient. The typically american practical thinking and our superb power of adaptation show their results.Last edited by Ceteram; January 4, 2003, 06:24.Ceteram Macedonicus

President Kurkov Makes Statement on British Conquests
The President of the transitional Russian government personally delivered a letter to the British Embassy in Moscow. While much of the content was unknown, Kurkov later penned a statement and sent it to this paper. Kurkov said that he accepted the British occupations of Candia and Nicosia, but that any further encroachment into cities with high Orthodox populations, such as Athens, Salonika, and Constantinople, would be deeply frowned upon. Kurkov reiterated that this isn't a threat, just a statement making clear Russia's traditional relationship with its ethnic kindred and its strategic needs.
