Naw, I know I can trust ming when it comes to that. He's like me, if you have to cheat, what's the point of playing?

Well DrFell, you raise an interesting point. I always work on the assumption that my opponents aren't cheating, Unless I personally catch them and with a high confidence level. Sometimes you can't be 100% sure. I have caught a few and there are a few I suspect. But I doubt I would go through the effort of accusing them. I just stop playing with them regularly. It is possible that I could be mistaken. I'm old enough to admit that. And as you pointed out, some people don't care. It's not worth the effort. I'm sure I still play every now and then with a few that do, but the only reason I play is for fun, so I don't want to go through the aggravation of a cheating accusation. Even though, I must admit, that the outcome provides some entertaining reading here.

The most cheaters I have played in fungames on the zone.
As for leagues, most important reason to play there is that games actually get finished.
And its a good way to see how your skill at the game developes over time.
For me, improving and playing competitive is a big part of the fun in civ anyways

I agree with Ming. In fact I think the real reason Markus and Eyes don't like barbs is they play an expansion strat which relies on as little interference from barbs as possible
Now that I know I don't have to defend my cities in this game I can do the same Its sooooo easy, I feel like I'm playing King or something.
I will never ever play with them on a island that is 4 or 5 squares big. no matter how much defence you have the barbs will knock you out of the game. With game settings like that the host will win each and every time. (either a great start or free tech)Join the army, travel to foreign countries, meet exotic people -
and kill them!
