          • Hows it going?

I hope you are enjoying my scenario, guys.

I response to a question raised on page 4, you stop your units being moved by the AI if you press Ctrl-N at the end of your turn. Then save.

One think I would say about this scenario - it is OK in PBEM, lousy in SP (the AI is just too dumb, no matter how much help I gave it) but really shines in online MP. Because cities and units are few, turns fly by, especially before 600BC. With four or more players, it has a nice feel.

I would even suggest to players who were going to do a PBEM that they played the first 50 turns (up to around 650BC) online (should take 3-5 hours), then settled into PBEM when you had enough cities and units to make each turn interesting.

Anyway, have fun. Hope the Persians show up with the determination to make things interesting this time!

                • ANZAC - you don't have a Mac, do you?

When you press Crtl-N, go into a city and see if you can move a fortified unit that you are sure has not tried to move that go. (Or a sentried one).

If you can still move it, I agree it doesn't seem to be working. Never seen THAT in Civ before! You DO have the MGE version of Civ??

                  • Yeah I have MGE and after I hit the key I can't move units, but they seem to move. I don't know...

                      • Chalcidean and Corinthian turns

I played Soundwave turns as well, but it would be better if someone else could do it till he returns: I'll ask Darius!!

Not much to say about Corinth, except on the tech front:

                        1) Traded Civic Pride for Potteries with Thebes

                        2) Made a gift to Athens

Oh yeah, and Black Potteries was built in Corinth!!!

Case: you didn't give me what you should have...

                        And here is the save:

                          • Short Break...

Sorry guys, but from tomorrow evening I won't have access to a computer till Monday evening next week!!

So, if my turn comes before, IF you really can't wait until I come back, just let the AI play it...

But of course I would prefer to play it myself as soon as I come back!!!

So, if you have to wait because of it, sorry... (well, actually I'm not THAT sorry, because I'm off to Scotland to taste a few whiskies and pints of bitter... )
