Is that the one Deity thought was cheating or was that someone else.
No, the guy Deity thought was cheating was - we think - an 11 year old without a great command of English.
Mmmm. On second thoughts, could well have been any of us, couldn't it.

I live in what could be termed the "multi-cultural" part of town, so my slang is authentic.
Picked it up hanging around the street corners? Do you wear "colours"? By which, of course, I mean "c-o-l-o-r-s".
As a side note, it is amazing that the auto business has a very rich and disturbing vernacular of its own. Lots of disparaging terminology directed at customers and their financial status.
Bit like this forum, ai.
Oh, and I'll be expecting my invitation to dinner in the post ASAP. I'll bring the balsamic and the beer.
You're most welcome Sneak, you know that. You just have to get here. I'd suggest we all chip in towards your airfare, but the response might be, um, embarrassing.

Oh, I'm sure you can cover it.
I'll tell you what I'll do...I'll ship you a nice convertible Solara for the low, low price of $35,000 to make it up to you.
Do we know what is going to be on the menu this time? I'm thinking a nice London broil or some Coho salmon tacos with a mild mango salsa?

Depending whether I can find enough really ripe tomatoes - the tomato season now just about over down here - I'll probably start with a Panzanella.
Then I'll offer a choice of either Grilled Swordfish with Salmoriglio Sauce on Braised Fennel and Silverbeet with Sage Potatoes, or a Veal Cutlet in a Saltimbocca Style with a Red Wine and Rosemary Jus and Sage Potatoes.
For pud, I'll probably do my Licorice Parfait with a Lime Syrup.

Which is only as it should be.

I'll just have a bowl of chips thanks.

It all sounds pretty good except for that disgusting lime-licorice concoction.
The lime syrup undercuts the richness and sweetness of the licorice. Works a treat. Trust me.

Why do I have a vision of Hydey with the table cloth tucked into that football shirt, elbows on the table, fondling all the finger sandwiches and putting them back on the plate?
You may end up having to do a bit of a Pygmalion session before the meal with Eliza here.
