Welcome aboard, Yaroslav! Glad you could join!
About the situation: Europe is now a peaceful place (will it last?? ).
Spain is nearly gone (the last city is kept on purpose, so that we could create a new nation if necessary), and Germany is under a kind of "guardianship" from France, GB, Italy and Russia, and is being step-by-step rebuilt, on the way to Democracy (this part is worth reading in the thread, though you might need to look a bit for it in the 44 pages... ). I'm not really able to tell you more about Germany because I'm the only one not really involved in the process...
About the Alliances: I don't know much, except that Turkey is allied with GB, and thanks to that Alliance Turkey is now much less behind than at the start of the game .Ankh-Morpork, we have an orangutan...

Yes, it's your turn.
France is allied with Italy (me) and Britain (The ANZAC) and is at peace with everyone else.'Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be - or to be indistinguishable from - self-righteous sixteen year olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.'

OOC:
Some things I want to share:
1) I'm working on the basis we're using the RULES.TXT posted in the second page of this thread by Soundwave, with more movements for ships.
2) I've deleted the H Tower password.
3) Nice thread. I've read the whole 44 pages. My head is gonna explode...
4) I'll be out tomorrow and the day after.Trying to rehabilitateh and contribuing again to the civ-community

Well, I did run the "compare file" command of MSDOS and found no differences, so we're using the same RULES.TXT
(How do you run the compare file? It's easy: go to a DOS windows and write
fc filename1 filename2
fc will tell you the diferences between the files. Use /b if the files are not text files)Trying to rehabilitateh and contribuing again to the civ-community

As in every game, I can't download saves because the new pop-up function tied to every attachment won't work for me (see this thread). Looks like we'll have to actually Play By E-Mail for the time being.

Could you post your email then? (perhaps in a new thread on the main page owing the the number of games you're in. Or in individual posts if you're hoping for Emperor-ship in the near future )'Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be - or to be indistinguishable from - self-righteous sixteen year olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.'
