Ex-King Case Sighted in Rome
La Repubblica has learned that Ex-King Case has reappeared in Rome. It is believed that the King has taken a military title and still controls the loyalty of the Italian Armed Forces.
Engineering Work Continues
Despite the current political upheaval work is continuing on various important capital works. The Adriatic Engineering Union reports that it's members have completed a road linking Tirana with Skopje with Trieste, and that they expect to complete a railroad linking the cities next month.

There only being one polluted area left in the Rhineland, French authorities have decided that the Italian engineer corps lent to the Third Republic in order to assist the cleanup can be safely returned to the troubled nation.
