What times are good for you? I'm usually online sometime between (desperately attempts complicated mental arithmetic) 08:00 and 12:00 GMT. Hopefully we can arrange a time to meet on MSN and do the trade then.

BUT I could get away at lunch break tomorrow to do it (we delayed it for long enough!).

So how would it be for you tomorrow between 11:00 GMT and 12:00 GMT (can't sooner, can't later!) ?? I need to know before, so please tell me before 10:00 GMT tomorrow!!

Lybian Cities Transfered to Great-Britain

From His Topkapi Palace, His Magnificence Ab-ul Hamid II today announced that, following lengthy discussions with the British Ambassador, the 2 cities of Tobruch and Benghazi have been transfered to the British autority. Under the British administration, He added, these 2 cities will be able to develop much faster than under the too distant Istambul bureaucracy.

The small frontier town of Gaza (Palestine) has been included in British Egypt as well.

The Turkish government today announced that the island of Cyprus is again part of the Ottoman Empire; it seems that this has something to do with the Lybian cities transfer...

Trade news

The last month saw many freight moving; tons of goods reached France and were delivered to Paris and other cities. This should help to develop the already excellent goodwill between France and Turkey.

Thanks to the hard work of the italian and turkish engineers, the Trans-Europe-Express is nearly finished, the last few bypasses being under construction. So Roma, Istambul, Paris and other european capitals will all be connected by railways, which will help to develop trade massively!

Trouble in Turkey

Some unrest is reported to be developing in remote areas of Turkey! Some hot-heads, calling themselves the "Young Turks", are demanding the 1875 constitution to be reinstalled. One of the leaders of those so-called revolutionaries is supposed to be Enver Pasha, General in the Ottoman Army...

There is no doubt that the Mighty Sultan, His Magnificence Abd-ul Hamid II, will bring order to the nation and that the rebels will be severely punished...

Sorry Cyrion, I was suddenly absent for a while because there was one last spate of tests at school right before the holidays

Thankfully, the holidays have just started and so for about 2 weeks I'll likely be able to be online pretty much any time I want

Premier Winterfritz of the Third Republic formally thanks the Ottoman sultan and his government for the recent increase in trade between France and Turkey. This will indeed improve already excellent relations between our two governments.
